Sorry för the lack of posts men har inte direkt haft något internet de senaste dagarna. Sedan sist så har arbetet med frön avtagit, bossen tycker inte att de frön som är kvar är lika viktiga tydligen, eller nåt sånt :) iallafall så fick vi då några dagars ledigt innan vi ska börja plantera nya träd över fälten och då passade jag och Madde på att åka in till Cairns ett tag. Åkte dit i onsdags, spenderade lite tid vid lagunen, åkte till Palm Cove, tog en dagstur till Port Douglas och även Hartleys Crocodile Adventure där vi fick se krokodiler (ja antagligen....), koala, ormar och olika ödlor. Fula fåglar också. Spännande. Sedan åt vi kinamat en kväll också, såååå gott. Man fick betala för den storleken på tallriken man ville ha och sen var det självservering - klart man lassade på så mycket man kunde. Mätt som en gnu blev jag, men jösses så gott. Massa skaldjur i olika marinader, kalamari rings, kyckling, biff, nudlar, grönsaker mmmmmmmm. Regnade när vi skulle gå hem, såg ut som dränkta katter när vi kom fram. Vi spenderade också lite tid till att gå i butiker och fika på The Coffee Club som nu officiellt är vårt favoritfik. Köpte en jättefin kjol idag, kanske ni har tur att få se den någon gång.
Nu är vi iallafall tillbaka i Babinda uppe på berget, Tim hämtade oss inne i Cairns då han ändå skulle lämna av någon vid flygplatsen, det tyckte jag var snällt av honom. Ska börja jobba nån dag framöver och då är det som sagt planteringen som gäller. Tydligen ett väldigt hårt jobb, hoppas vi överlever. Behöver nog inte oroa oss för solsting för regnperioden är verkligen här nu, har tydligen regnat konstant här i Babbie sedan några dagar tillbaka. Har hört på radion att det är en cyklon som härjar här nånstans, med det är tydligen långt norrut så vi behöver inte vara oroliga. Vi kommer bara få regnet sa Tim. Tim säger mycket bra saker, han lär oss mycket. Han har även fixat avloppet ute i vår backpackerhydda så det luktar inget nu, och skaffat ett nytt munstycke till duschen så det blev mycket mycket bättre. Synd att det regnar in, har ställt en hink där nu. Ser ut som att en del av taket har böjts pga att det har regnat in och tynger ner, skulle vara tråkigt om det rasar ihop. Haha.
I helgen går The Hobbit här nere på biografen i byn, DEN SKA JAG SE. Har dött av väntan sedan jag hörde att den skulle komma ut, för ett år sen.... Kostar bara 8 dollar, pangpris ju.
Nej, orkar inte skriva mera nu. Ska lägga in alla bilder från "semestern" nån dag framöver så jag kan visa några. Finns en del godbitar.
